Wholesale & Trade Policies

ACCESS TO WHOLESALE / TRADE DISCOUNTS

This site hosts both retail and wholesale catalogs. You must be logged in to an approved wholesale/trade account to access our wholesale/trade pricing. Once you've registered for an account our team will review it for approval. Access is subject to approval.  


TERMS

Terms listed below must be met for all wholesale orders. 

     Order minimum of $200

     5 unit minimum per design

Minimum Exception: Single sample items are available - see "SAMPLES" below. 

Wholesale and Trade discounts are only applied to Convivial ceramics.

Discounts and gift cards do not apply to wholesale/trade orders, unless otherwise specified. 

 


SHIPPING

Shipping is priced to be fair to our customers while also covering shipping fees, recyclable packaging, and our employee's time. Customer service, fair wages, and sustainability are important to us as a company. As a small handmade business, we appreciate your understanding. 

GROUND

An 18% shipment fee will be charged at the time of purchase. This applies to wholesale partners domestic to the Contiguous USA exclusively (Hawaii and Alaska not included) and is not extended for international shipments at this time. International orders and orders from outside the Contiguous US will be invoiced the full rate of shipment, at time of shipment. Please note that Convivial is not responsible for any import fees or duties on international orders.

FREIGHT

We offer freight shipment for bulk orders. We generally begin to see savings on orders of $2,000+. When we receive an order, we automatically find the most cost effective route for shipment. If your order is more economical to ship via freight, we will reach out to you directly to coordinate this. 

LOCAL

Shops local to Kansas City are welcome to pickup their orders from our studio, located in the Historic West Bottoms. Contact sales@convivialproduction.com for more details and to adjust shipping charges.

 


LEAD TIMES

Lead times for wholesale orders vary by season and quantities of items purchased. The average fulfillment time for a wholesale order is 5 business days. Larger orders are subject to adjusted lead times where necessary. If you're needing an order rushed, please email sales@convivialproduction.com ahead of time.

 


SAMPLES

Samples can be found in the Quick Order Form on your account page or the bottom of the website.

Samples are an exception to our order minimums. Normal wholesale/trade pricing and shipping fee apply. Must be ordered from the "Sample" listings.

Samples are non-returnable.

 


TRADE ACCOUNTS

We are now offering trade accounts to those that qualify. You may apply by using the same wholesale inquiry form and adding a note. Convivial Production holds the right to determine qualification as trade or wholesale accounts. Trade accounts are those who would like to use Convivial products in their designs/arrangements but not necessarily resell them. If you are unsure if you qualify as a wholesale or trade account, please reach out to sales@convivialproduction.com

Trade discount is 20% off all available items. We do not offer larger discounts as we work hard to price our items to be accessible.

Shipping and sample policies are the same as listed above. Order total minimum is not applied to trade partners. To order under the 5 unit minimum, please reach out to sales@convivialproduction.com or order a sample.


DAMAGES

If any of your items are damaged in shipment, please reach out to sales@convivialproduction.com within 3 days of receiving the shipment. We only require that a photo of the damaged product be submitted but a photo of the box does help! In response, we’ll ship out your replacement item immediately and take care of the requirements of filing insurance claims on our end.

 


FAQ 

 Q: DOES CONVIVIAL OFFER ZIP SECURITY?

A: We understand the unique challenge that comes with being a shop owner and wanting to ensure unique products. However we are unable to offer zip security for every shop and product at this time. We do extend zip security for 6 months to long standing wholesale partners upon request. If you have questions, please reach out to sales@convivialproduction.com

 

Q: DOES CONVIVIAL HOLD ANY CONTRACTS CONCERNING HOW I PRICE AND RESELL PRODUCTS? 

A: Not at this time. We set our wholesale prices and simply communicate a suggested retail price within each product listing. However, we allow our wholesale partners to price products however they see fit to best cater their customer base and financial needs. 

 

Q: HOW DO YOU PACK YOUR ORDERS?

A: We are passionate about using 100% recyclable or compostable packaging material. Each piece is wrapped in a corrugated paper packaging and every box is filled with biodegradable packing peanuts.

 

Q: DO YOU PROVIDE PRIVATE LABEL / WHITE LABEL SERVICES?

A: Yes but we can only accept private label projects on a limited basis. If you have a project in mind that you would like to discuss please email Danielle at design@convivialproduction.com.

  

Q: AM I FREE TO UTILIZE CONVIVIAL MARKETING MATERIALS IN ADVERTISING? 

A: Yes, absolutely! We work really hard to create thoughtful, beautiful content to present our products. We are more than happy to share the content we create with all of our wholesale partners at no cost. Content can be pulled directly from our website or social platform (IG). Please reach out to design@convivivalproduction.com to receive the original content file.

 

Q: DO YOU OFFER TRADE ACCOUNTS / DISCOUNTS?

A: Yes! Please see the above section! If you are unsure if you qualify as a wholesale or trade account, please reach out to sales@convivialproduction.com. You can also apply using the inquiry form.

 

Q: CAN I PRE-ORDER / PAY LATER / NET-TERMS?

A: Please contact sales@convivialproduction.com if you would like to be considered for pre-ordering or net-terms approval. Completion of a Credit Card Authorization Form is required.

 


PRODUCT DETAILS

We take considerable pride in hand-making each piece that leaves our studio. The hand-making process gives each design a beautiful quality that makes every item we send out completely original to its new owner. As part of this process every item is not an exact copy, but is an organic form that can have slight variations in form and dimension. You may find that the dimensions listed for each product may vary by a quarter inch.
